Work Experience:

Feb 2008-Dec 31 2008:Team Lead, KYC-Sponsorship team at JP Morgan Chase, managing a team with an ops plan headcount of 14 persons. Provided editorial support to the research reports and due diligence dossiers produced by the team. I had exposure to information about Sub-Prime/CDO/CLO players between December 2006 and December 2008. I was the founding editor of “The Fish Recipe”, an in-house employee engagement magazine.


Jan 2007-Jan 2008: Operations Analyst for the KYC-Sponsorship team at JP Morgan Chase with additional responsibilities of editorial review, training, reporting and process documentation. Mentored and trained 16 new employees. The team had grown from 2 people in July 2006 to 14 people in Jan 2008.


June 2006-Jan 2007: Team Member in the KYC-Sponsorship team at JP Morgan Chase, responsible for writing reports on the media exposure of JPMC’s clients to evaluate if doing business with the client exposed JPMC to any reputation risk from money laundering or other illegal activities. I also prepared due diligence reports on certain clients.


October 2005 to June 2006: Team Member in the KYC Team at JP Morgan Chase. The work involved document acquisition as per JP Morgan’s KYC/AML policies.


August 2004 to August 2005: Research Analyst at Thomson Financial, Bangalore, India. My work involved updating Thomson Financial’s global database of investment management firms by web research and telephone interviews. I had to comply with strict quality norms and work within ISO guidelines.


May 2003 to August 2004: Technical Support Executive at Dell International Services, Bangalore, India. I provided telephone support on Dell’s desktop systems, walking lay users through troubleshooting steps and setting up service calls if necessary. I was cited several times for sterling customer experience.
